The HSPD 6452 VulcanShield™ Blue Hybrid is built for welding specialists operating in high-temperature environments who need maximum forearm coverage paired with lightweight breathability. The front palm is made from supple, high-touch white leather for fluid filler wire handling, while the entire back of the hand and extended safety gauntlet are constructed from flame-resistant royal blue Nomex® woven fabric. This advanced textile shields against open flame and intense radiant heat while letting air pass through to keep your hands cool and dry.

To guard against heavy mechanical wear and tabletop drag, key contact zones are reinforced with smooth white leather patches. Soft leather caps protect the back tips of the middle three fingers, a wide horizontal leather strap protects the main knuckle joints, and an extra side leather guard runs down the full outer edge of the pinky. The bottom edge of the sleeve is neatly finished with a protective white leather piping trim to prevent fraying over long-term shop use. Every seam is sewn with heat-resistant Kevlar thread to prevent stitch burnouts.

Designed for effortless hand mobility, the glove incorporates an inset keystone thumb that follows your hand’s natural angle to prevent gripping tightness. A flexible gathered elastic band across the back wrist keeps the fit snug while keeping out stray flying sparks and metal shavings.
