The HSPD 6401 VulcanShield™ is built for welders who need fine touch sensitivity for precision tasks along with maximum arm protection. The main hand area is crafted entirely from supple white goatskin leather, giving you a lightweight feel that lets you adjust torch settings and feed thin wire effortlessly.

To keep high heat, sparks, and grinding spatters far away from your skin, the glove comes with an extra-long, 7-inch bright orange roughout cowhide sleeve. The cuff bottom edge is finished with a clean cotton fabric binding to stop leather splitting and keep the arm opening smooth. Every seam is sewn using fire-safe Kevlar thread, ensuring the panels stay locked together without burning or melting around open flames.

We also designed this glove with a smooth, stitch-free pointer finger to stop side friction, while the natural angled wing thumb follows your hand's natural resting grip to reduce muscle strain. A built-in stretchy gathered wrist band keeps the glove fitting securely and seals out stray sparks or workshop dust.
