The HSPD 6618 VulcanShield™ Black & Golden Reinforced Edition delivers maximum durability and thermal defense for heavy industrial welding, structural steel handling, and metal fabrication. Built on a thick, jet-black split suede cowhide chassis, this model features high-contrast golden-yellow split leather reinforcements designed specifically to extend product lifespan under aggressive daily shop use.
The targeted reinforcement system includes a golden-yellow split leather overlay that covers the entire front of the index finger, extends across the primary palm gripping area, and wraps around the thumb base. Inside, a dual-lining system cushions and insulates: plush thermal fleece shields fingers from radiant heat, while a sturdy denim cuff lining keeps the extended gauntlet open and absorbs wrist moisture. Gold-colored welted leather strips enclose all critical structural seams to stop spark burnouts, and every seam is stitched using flame-resistant Kevlar thread.
Designed for natural hand flexibility, the glove incorporates an angled wing thumb pattern that contours to your resting position to prevent grip fatigue. The lower sleeve opening is neatly finished with a clean self-leather turned hem to prevent fraying and ensure long-term durability.
