The HSPD 6626 VulcanShield™ Dark Brown Fully-Reinforced Round-Thumb Edition is engineered for demanding welding operations, heavy metal fabrication, and foundry tasks where extreme wear resistance and fit retention are essential. Fully constructed from deep brown split suede cowhide, this glove effectively hides industrial dirt, soot, and oil while providing heavy-duty defense against sparks, slag, and surface abrasion.
To maximize lifespan under intense material handling, this model features a multi-point split leather reinforcement system. A heavy-duty cross-stitched palm patch reinforces the primary gripping bed and wraps into the thumb crotch, while a specialized index finger overlay protects against cable dragging and torch friction. The wrist features a shirred elastic back that gathers the leather snugly around the wrist, preventing debris entry and keeping the glove anchored securely during movement.
Inside, a soft thermal fleece lining shields the hand against conductive heat transfer, supported by a rigid denim lining inside the extended gauntlet cuff. All critical seams are protected by matching welted leather piping and bound tightly with 100% flame-resistant Kevlar thread.
