The HSPD 6608 VulcanShield™ Fireproof Orange & Natural Grey Edition is designed for heavy-duty industrial welding, smelting, torch cutting, and foundry applications that demand superior fire resistance. Built with a high-visibility burnt orange fireproof split suede cowhide hand shell, this model undergoes specialized thermal treatment to resist direct flame contact, shrink-back, and extreme radiant heat exposure without hardening or cracking.
The contrasting natural grey split leather extended gauntlet cuff provides tough forearm coverage, keeping spatter and molten drops away from clothing. Inside, a soft thermal fleece hand lining shields against conductive and radiant heat, while a durable denim sleeve lining supports the extended gauntlet to maintain cuff opening and manage wrist sweat. Light-colored welted leather piping encloses all critical structural seams to stop spark burnouts, and every seam is stitched using flame-safe Kevlar thread for maximum structural durability under intense heat.
Designed for natural hand movement, the glove features an angled wing thumb pattern that contours comfortably to the hand at rest. The extended safety sleeve is neatly finished with a clean self-leather turned hem to prevent fraying and edge splitting.
