The HSPD 6617 VulcanShield™ Royal Blue Reinforced Edition is designed for heavy welding, metal fabrication, and high-heat shop tasks where extra palm strength and critical wrist protection are needed. Crafted from premium royal blue split suede cowhide, this glove provides dependable protection against hot flying sparks, molten slag, and surface abrasion.
To maximize safety and durability, this model features an integrated golden-yellow split leather reinforcement system. A curved patch spans the primary palm grip area and wraps over the thumb crotch, while an additional rounded yellow leather patch shields the inner wrist seam—serving as a dedicated artery/pulse protector against heat exposure and heavy wear. Inside, a soft fleece hand lining insulates fingers against radiant heat, and a durable denim sleeve lining backs the extended gauntlet. Brown-gold welted leather strips enclose all critical seams to stop spark burnouts.
Engineered for natural hand flexibility, the glove incorporates an angled wing thumb pattern that reduces grip fatigue during long work shifts. The bottom cuff edge is neatly finished with a clean self-leather turned hem, and every seam is stitched using flame-safe Kevlar thread for long-lasting workshop performance.
